Legal Product Manager

FS Investments is seeking to add a talented associate to the legal and compliance team to help coordinate legal and regulatory affairs for our expanding family of investment products. The successful candidate is expected to: Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparation of board materials, board minutes and written consents. Provide contract negotiation support. Assist with SEC filings. Coordinate fund board meetings, marketing material review and other aspects of fund operations. Provide intellectual property file management. Conduct EDGAR, regulatory and other legal and industry research. Work with other members of the firm on special projects and initiatives. Learn the alternative fund business in collegial, dynamic environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Large law firm or corporate law department paralegal experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Organizational skills, prioritization, interpersonal and administrative skills. Ability to multitask and possess a high attention to detail. Strong communication and proofreading skills. Self–motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure. Must have the ability to work as a team as well as independently.
