Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 per year
A bit about us:
A highly reputable and historical firm with auspicious roots dating to the 19th century seeks a senior real estate of counsel with extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate leasing, including office, industrial, life sciences, and retail leasing. The candidate should preferably have experience with the fundamentals of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, zoning construction, and/or development and permitting a plus.
The candidate will supervise the Real Estate Center workflow and workload on a daily basis. Will manage a geographically dispersed team. Coordinate workload execution to meet deal/project timelines, budgets, and standards. Create and manage real estate center workflows, including the QC process. Serve as point of contact with Real Estate practice group partners and/or clients regarding real estate project execution, implementation, and status. Oversee the real estate center team on a daily basis. Create accurate budgets/estimates for review projects, as well as monthly revenue forecasting and monthly invoice review. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to improve attorneys skills, work product, and performance. Create and maintain the firm's positive team environment. Perform other real estate center functions as needed.
Prior client service and large project management experience is required. Must have experience drafting closing documents, leases, and Purchase and Sale Agreements; reviewing title, survey, zoning reports, and other due diligence; and preparing lease abstracts. Familiarity with real estate deal processes and legal documents is required. Strong technical background needed.
