Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Trademark Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Trademark Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our clients in the trademark registration process. You will work closely with our attorneys and clients to ensure that all legal documents are prepared and filed accurately and efficiently. This is a full–time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting trademark searches and analyzing search results to determine the availability of trademarks for registration
• Preparing and filing trademark applications with the USPTO
• Drafting and filing responses to office actions issued by the USPTO
• Drafting and filing trademark oppositions and cancellations
• Maintaining trademark portfolios and tracking deadlines
• Communicating with clients regarding trademark matters and providing updates on the status of their applications
• Drafting waivers, assignments, and other legal documents related to trademark matters
• Conducting foreign trademark searches and coordinating with foreign counsel to file trademark applications in foreign jurisdictions
• Assisting with trademark litigation matters as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal or equivalent experience in a legal setting
• Strong knowledge of trademark law and USPTO procedures
• Experience conducting trademark searches and analyzing search results
• Experience preparing and filing trademark applications and responses to office actions
• Experience drafting legal documents related to trademark matters
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
