Head Of Legal

Our client is a fast–growing UK subsidiary of an international AI and data–led company. They are currently in the process of building their UK team and as part of this scale up they now require a Head Of Legal to provide support across the organisation.

Liaising closely with the Commercial, Finance, HR and Technical disciplines, the primary focus of the role will be to support the teams with contract drafting, negotiation and management. This will encompass providing commercial contract templates for the organization including Master Services Agreements, Product Licenses, Hosting Agreements and agreements for Data Processing and Data Privacy. You will also support the teams with commercial legal input to specific client accounts, third party vendor contracts and leases, as well as employment law advice, employee agreements, and incentive and stock option schemes.

To apply, you will currently be a commercial lawyer, ideally with multi–jurisdiction experience, with experience in intellectual property law. Possessing good communication skills and good attention to detail, it is likely you will have multi–industry experience encompassing utilities, telco, financial services and retail.

This is a part–time role, predominantly remote based. It may suit someone currently operating on a consultancy basis or an individual keen to reduce their working hours.
