Trademark/Copyright Associate

Foley Hoag’s Trademark, Copyright & Unfair Competition group has an opening in either our Boston or New York office for a lawyer with at least two years of law firm experience in the areas of trademark and/or copyright litigation and prosecution.

The position will involve reviewing trademark search reports and preparing clearance opinions, handling domestic and international trademark prosecution and counseling, responding to Office Actions issued by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and managing other aspects of trademark and copyright prosecution.  In addition, the associate will assist in trademark and copyright disputes, including out-of-court enforcement and defense of claims; opposition, cancellation, and appeal proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and federal court litigation.
