Global professional services company, with an extensive client base requires a junior commercial / technology lawyer to bolster its expanding, commercial team in an enviable, client facing role.

The Team
The Commercial and Digital Law team has a national presence. It deals with a broad range of matters, including: commercial contracts, IT and tech/digital law, data protection and privacy, non–contentious soft IP matters and regulatory advice. They service large and multi–national clients

The Role
You will enjoy exposure to a wide range of commercial contracts, e.g. supply, distribution, services (including IT/business process outsourcing), e–commerce, manufacturing, franchising, agency and fintech, for a huge variety of clients across multiple sectors.

Candidate Requirements

You will have a demonstrable track record in drafting, advising and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts especially technology contracts.

Plus experience of:

Intra–group contracting arrangements (particularly in the context of group transfer pricing arrangements; an understanding of transfer pricing rules would be beneficial).

Soft intellectual property (non–contentious), including IP licensing, copywriting of software and IP portfolio management.

Data protection and privacy, including a working knowledge of both EU and UK data protection laws.
Corporate due diligence.
Large scale contract review/novation projects and project management skills.
