IP Marketing Attorney

A New Jersey–based legal services firm is currently seeking a new IP Marketing Attorney for a promising opportunity with their growing staff.

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

The IP Marketing Attorney will:

• Implement the company's Intellectual Property portfolio and overall strategy, and drafts, reviews and negotiates various related agreements


• Oversee product packaging/label, marketing and advertising review, as well as the review of training materials for trademark, trade dress, and related intellectual property issues


• Provide counsel to the Leadership team and various business units concerning Intellectual Property, licensing, and related areas, including marketing, international sales, etc.


• Review, draft, redline, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents


• Manage the Outside Counsel, including preparing and responding to RFPs and negotiating favorable rates


• Research and analyze statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and other legal sources and provide timely and sound advice to internal stakeholders


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Legal experience


• Bachelor's Degree


• Juris Doctorate


• Admission to the NJ Bar


• Specialized knowledge and experience in the area of Intellectual Property, both domestically and internationally
