For our office in Munich we are looking for a

Japanese Patent Attorney (m/f/d) preferably with the technical background of chemistry for our Japanese Desk supporting our high share of Japanese key account clients. We offer:
  • Salary: you will earn a competitive salary with the prospect of yearly increase
  • Working hours: our working hours model provides for a working week of approximately 40 hours with only four hours of daily core working hours, thus offering you a high degree of flexibility
  • Development: Apart from your work for our Japanese Desk we offer optional training to be qualified as European and/or German patent attorney
  • Prospects: our personnel strategy is designed towards long–term inhouse requirements; in addition, our international cross–industry clientele promises a decoupling from company– or industry–specific economic cycles and thus a high degree of job security
Your profile:
  • Qualification: certified Japanese Patent Attorney, highly preferable would be a background in chemistry
  • Communication: Linguistic talent with native Japanese and good English skills
  • Personality: Self–demand through commitment, sense of responsibility, quality awareness
Your tasks:
  • Acquisition: Supporting us in finding and maintaining clients from Japan both via data analysis and by personal visits
  • Representation: Supporting our business culture and attending conferences
  • Communication: Supporting us in overcoming the language barrier both by office based means and on business trips
