Job Details

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Employment Litigation Paralegal to join our team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will provide support to our litigation team in all aspects of employment litigation, including managing case files, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment law and litigation, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with employment law case management tasks, including organizing and maintaining case files, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and managing discovery documents specific to employment–related claims such as discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
  • Conduct legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulations, and provide summaries to attorneys in relation to employment law matters.
  • Assist with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and trial preparation related to employment law matters.
  • Review and analyze documents for production and privilege logs in relation to employment law claims.
  • Prepare and maintain calendars, including case deadlines, court dates, and other key dates specific to employment law matters.
  • Assist with electronic filing of court documents in relation to employment law matters.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner regarding employment law claims.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA–approved program.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in employment litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery documents specific to employment–related claims.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and case law, including but not limited to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
  • Experience with e–discovery tools, such as Relativity or Concordance, specific to employment–related claims.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other legal software programs.
