IP Solicitor

This leading firm is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their IP team within their Corporate department. Ideally they would like an individual with experience in the following:

• advise on the full range of IP rights (trademarks and passing off)
• copyright and database right
• rights in designs
• patents and rights in confidential information
• Advising on ad hoc day–to–day IP queries
• Assisting in a broad range of transactional matters
• Assisting in a broad range of contentious matters
• Assisting in advice on the strengthening and protection of IP portfolios
• Initiating, building and maintaining effective client relationships
• Ensuring files are managed in compliance with excel procedures
• Pro–active participation in department and firm–wide marketing initiatives;

As a solicitor you will need to be:

• Qualified up to 6 years PQE with experience in contentious and non–contentious Intellectual Property matters
• Strong technical skills and client focus
• Drive and enthusiasm
• Commercial awareness
• Solid academic record
• A developing ability to manage files independently
