Commercial Lawyer Salary – GBPdepending on experience Location Newcastle upon Tyne Full time / permanent We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer, to join a well established client of ours. You will be joining a busy and growing corporate and commercial team working on complex projects regionally, nationally and on a cross–border basis. The successful candidate will be advising on a range of complex and high–value commercial transactions many in the technology sector, covering intellectual property, software development, software licensing (including cloud), and data protection. The team provides advice to businesses of all sizes including start–ups, established SMEs, public limited companies and large public sector organisations. Commercial Lawyer, Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on legal matters Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases and other legal documents Research and analyse legal issues Commercial Lawyer, Key Skills: 5+ years PQE in a commercial law firm Experience in the technology sector, working on Information technology software and IP agreements Ability to interpret complex legal documents Ability to negotiate and mediate Pro active in managing your workload and continual development of your own legal skills Excellent organisational skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong communication skills and an ability to work and build relationships with colleagues, clients and the wider professional community
