Trademark Attorney – Virtual – Of-Counsel to full/part time

We are a growing full-service intellectual property law firm started by a former USPTO trademark examining attorney. We work directly with interesting clients to protect, enforce, defend, and monetize their IP. This is a role for a self-starter motivated to succeed in IP law and grow with our firm. The of-counsel pay structure is determined based on experience and business development.  Business development is not necessary, but is welcomed and rewarded.  Experience level should be above 3+ years of trademark experience.  Of-counsel role to start with possible full or part time status after a period of time.

What the role could include:

domestic and foreign trademark advice and prosecution; copyright advice and filings; responses to office actions; TTAB matters, including oppositions and cancellations; trademark clearance; drafting of agreements;  federal litigation; domain name disputes; enforcement letters.

Education and Experience requests:

--License to practice in at least one state

--Minimum 3+ years of experience

--Proven interest in trademark law

--We prefer that you have worked on trademark searches, enforcement letters, responses to complicated office actions, TTAB matters or coexistence agreements

--Trademark and copyright coursework

--Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but is not required

--Former USPTO examiner experience is a strong plus
