Property Litigation Solicitor - Brighton

A South England based Law firm with a reputation for excellence and great client care are seeking a Property Litigator for their Dispute Resolution Department in their Brighton Office. The team offers advice to landlords, tenants, developers, funders and high net worth individuals on commercial and residential property matters. We have particular expertise in disputes matters arising from a wide range of property–related disputes, including boundary disputes, dilapidation and disrepair claims and disputes under the Landlord & Tenant Act. The successful applicant will be advising a diverse portfolio of clients including property developers, investors, lenders, individuals and owner–occupiers, whilst developing the profile of the team throughout the local region and beyond. You will be advising clients on a wide range of matters including contractual disputes, intellectual property, construction disputes, professional negligence and defamation. You will ideally have significant previous experience in Real Estate Litigation as well as in general commercial disputes, together with a strong academic record, proven technical skills, an outward facing, client driven approach and aptitude for developing strong client relationships. Abilities required: Ability to manage their own caseload effectively Perform work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the risk management procedures Keep up to date with changes and developments in areas of law Build and maintain client and referral contacts Good knowledge of the CPR Excellent experience in Litigation Good knowledge of Property related litigation matters.
