Intellectual Property Litigation Solicitor – City of London

The Team
The IP Team advises clients on the full range of IP rights, covering disputes, transactions and general advisory work. They also have an in–house trade mark filing and prosecution team. They work seamlessly with other teams including IP Advisory (non–lawyer IP consultants) and IP tax specialists to provide a holistic end–to–end solution to clients' management of their intangible assets. The team works on a variety of unique and interesting projects run by other parts of the business which require IP input.
The Role
You will enjoy the full range of contentious and non contentious intellectual property matters, including copy right, design, trademarks and patents. You will get to work alongside other departments on large, multi–layered, projects. Meaning there is great variety of work on offer.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious Solicitor who is looking for a step up in their legal career.
The Candidate
You will be an experience IP lawyer around the 2–4 pqe level, with a background at a City firm or equivalent. You will have gained experience of both contentious and non–contentious IP including trade mark and patent matters. Experience of dealing with objections and oppositions to trade mark applications and patent advisory work such as freedom to operate projects will be beneficial.
