About the Job:
Are you a Paralegal looking to progress your Legal Career with a FTSE 100 global business? We're looking for someone to join our inhouse team to develop a successful legal career.
In this role you will be a proactive members of the Legal Hub, providing legal advice and guidance to our Sage employees, effectively minimising and managing legal risk.

This is a fast paced and varied role, where you will be providing guidance on a variety of subjects, including intellectual property, data protection, corporate activity, compliance and sanctions issues, Sage's products and technology and supporting Sage's suppliers and customers.
You'll also support the success of the business by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Summary of your day–to–day:
As a part of your day to day duties, you will be responsible for performing due diligence and research, undertaking legal contract reviews and contract negotiations with third parties including customers and suppliers, support on the delivery of legal advice and guidance, and engage with business and functional stakeholders on legal matters and timely delivery of legal advice. This exciting role will also enable you produce and maintain specifically identified legal assets and best practice process for use by Legal and its wider stakeholders, while also being able to proactively implement any improvements to the legal process.
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:
The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree Level with a Legal Qualification. Alongside this you'll have
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• The ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels
• Have strong research skills and excellent attention to detail
• Be a collaborative team player
• Able to work on your own initiative and prioritise effectively
This role is based from our Newcastle offices with hybrid or flexible working opportunities
