Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are a large scale, full service law firm with several locations across the nation. We specialize in several practice areas in Litigation, Regulatory Law, and Corporate Law. This includes (but not limited to) Intellectual Property, Automotive Liability, and Labor and Employment Law.

At this time, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney experienced in general liability cases to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling general liability defense cases. This is a full–time position within our downtown Atlanta location.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in general liability litigation cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on the status of their cases.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
• 2+ years of general liability/defense experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
