Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, providing legal advice and guidance, and ensuring that contractual rights and intellectual property are protected. This is a full–time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on contractual rights and intellectual property matters
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Manage and prioritize a high–volume caseload
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and tactics
- Attend and participate in client meetings and court appearances
- Stay current on legal developments and changes in laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan
- 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Strong knowledge of contractual rights and intellectual property law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time–management skills
- Ability to manage a high–volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
