Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position in the Legal industry for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in Patent Law. The candidate must have a proven track record in patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Conducting patentability and freedom–to–operate searches
- Providing legal opinions on patentability, infringement, and validity
- Managing patent portfolios
- Negotiating and drafting licensing agreements
- Representing clients in patent litigation proceedings
- Counseling clients on intellectual property matters
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar and the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- 3+ years of experience as a Patent Attorney, attorney, or Transactional Associate Attorney
- Strong understanding of patent law and its application
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
