Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Review, negotiate and draft a wide variety of contracts, including but not limited to, purchase agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, and employment agreements.
  • Act as a company advocate and advisor, providing legal guidance on various business matters, including but not limited to, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide guidance on complex legal issues and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage and oversee outside counsel on litigation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, data privacy, anti–trust, and intellectual property laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including but not limited to, finance, human resources, and sales, to provide legal support on various business initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to other members of the legal team and other departments on legal matters.

Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed to practice law in applicable areas.
  • 3+ years of experience in transactional law, preferably in a law firm or in–house legal department.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice to senior management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and outside counsel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast–paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
