Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Counsel to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract review, trademark, estate planning, corporate law, and intellectual property counsel. The successful candidate will work closely with our executive team, providing legal guidance and support to ensure the company's continued success and mitigating risk.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Advising on trademark and intellectual property matters, including registration, infringement, and licensing.
• Developing and implementing estate planning strategies to protect the company's assets and minimize tax liabilities.
• Providing legal guidance and support to the executive team on a wide range of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and regulatory compliance.
• Managing outside counsel and other legal service providers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in a general counsel or similar role in the finance industry.
• Strong background in contract review, trademark, estate planning, corporate law, and intellectual property counsel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross–functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast–paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem–solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions to complex legal issues.
