Job Title: Commercial Legal Counsel (NQ – 4 years PQE)

Location: Cambridge (with hybrid working, one to two days office )

Experience: NQ – 4 years PQE

Salary: GBP52,000.00 – GBP60,000.00 per annum

Job Type: Full–time, permanent

Exciting new NQ – 4 years In–House Commercial Legal Counsel opportunity to join a world leading organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Advising and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements
• Manage a caseload which includes advice on customer and partner contracts, distribution and agency and marketing agreements
• Handle licensing and intellectual property contracts
• Draft, negotiate and review bespoke and non–standard contracts
• Handle compliance issues, regulations, laws, policies and other relevant matters relevant to general in–house legal practice

Requirements:

• UK qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive, NQ – 4 years PQE with either an In–House or Private Practice background
• Have a background in commercial law, ideally with an emphasis on sales, content licensing and customer–focused agreement
• Good working knowledge of contracts, intellectual property and licensing
• Have the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business at all levels
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Organised and detail oriented
