TMT Lawyer

A highly ranked IP firm has recently opened its doors for a TMT (Telecoms, Media and Technology Lawyer.) • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of TMT issues, including telecommunications, media, technology, intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and licenses pertaining to TMT transactions
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and case law affecting the TMT sector
• Advise clients on legal risks and opportunities related to emerging technologies such as AI, block chain, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
• Assist with due diligence processes and regulatory filings for TMT–related mergers, acquisitions, and investments
• Represent clients in dispute resolution matters, including negotiations, mediations, and litigations, if required

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of post–qualification experience (PQE) in Telecoms, Media, and Technology law – Lower amounts of PQE will still be taken into consideration
• Solid understanding of TMT industry regulations, practices, and market dynamics
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating TMT–related contracts, agreements, and licenses
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, data protection, privacy regulations, and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Excellent academics
