IP Paralegal

A prestigious international Law Firm is looking for a Paralegal to join the London office on a permanent basis, working in their Trade Mark / IP and Brand Protection team. This role will offer a split of working in the office 3 days a week and home 2 days a week. A generous salary is on offer, plus excellent benefits.

The role will involve dealing with national, international and Community trade mark applications and UK and Community designs in addition to providing a full administrative service to the team in conjunction with an existing Trade Mark team. Main duties will include entering new trade mark and design applications and other relevant data into the trade mark, liaising with the team in relation to deadlines and diary reminders, assisting in trade mark and design renewals as well as the preparation and filing of trade mark and design application and related forms, maintaining IPO, GPTO, OHIM and WIPO deposit accounts and assisting with the billing process, completing forms and fee sheets for UK trademarks, and Community designs, any ad–hoc project work and producing status reports for clients on an ad–hoc basis.

Candidates must have two years IP / Formalities experience and the ability to carry out all aspects of trademark and design formalities work accurately in addition to excellent written, communication and organisational skills.
