The successful candidate will be joining a globally recognised firm with offices all over the Europe, the US and Asia.Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of IP litigation matters, including patent disputes, copyright infringement, trademark disputes
- Conduct legal research and analysis, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients
- Prepare and participate in court proceedings, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in hearings and trials
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure successful outcomes
- Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law, regulations, and precedents to provide clients with accurate and relevant advice
- Assist with business development efforts, including client relationship management, attending industry events, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives
- Getting involved in dispute matters that cover the full breadth of IP rights including trademarks, data base rights and copyright
- Qualified to practice in the courts of England and Wales
- 2–5 years PQE
- A Stem degree
- Demonstrated experience handling complex IP disputes, preferably within a reputable law firm
- Previous experience in Patent Litigation
- In–depth knowledge of UK and EU IP laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities, with the capability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- A proactive and client–focused mindset, with exceptional attention to detail
