IP Litigation Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional who possess a deep passion for Intellectual Property law and a steadfast commitment to protecting the innovative endeavours of individuals and businesses. The successful candidate will be joining a globally recognised firm with offices all over the Europe, the US and Asia.Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of IP litigation matters, including patent disputes, copyright infringement, trademark disputes
• Conduct legal research and analysis, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients
• Prepare and participate in court proceedings, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in hearings and trials
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure successful outcomes
• Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law, regulations, and precedents to provide clients with accurate and relevant advice
• Assist with business development efforts, including client relationship management, attending industry events, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives
• Getting involved in dispute matters that cover the full breadth of IP rights including trademarks, data base rights and copyright

Requirements:

• Qualified to practice in the courts of England and Wales
• 2–5 years PQE
• A Stem degree
• Demonstrated experience handling complex IP disputes, preferably within a reputable law firm
• Previous experience in Patent Litigation
• In–depth knowledge of UK and EU IP laws, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities, with the capability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• A proactive and client–focused mindset, with exceptional attention to detail
