A 15–attorney trial firm is seeking a paralegal with 2+ years of litigation experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a paralegal who wants to join a tech–savvy firm and grow in their legal career! This paralegal will have the permanent flexibility to work remotely 2 days/week.
The firm:
- This paralegal will join a friendly LA firm that has been established for 30+ years
- This firm handles a mix of commercial, complex, employment, intellectual property, and insurance coverage litigation
- My team has placed several attorneys and paralegals with this firm in the past 5 years. They have all had a great experience working here!
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Experience in state and federal courts is a plus, but not required
- Experience with:
- Trial and deposition prep – preparing witnesses, exhibits, jury instructions, etc.
- Subpoenas
- Legal research
- Document review and production
- eDiscovery and/or TrialDirector experience is a plus, but not necessarily required
- The firm will give this paralegal the autonomy to handle substantive legal work!
- The ability to bill for their time (either a bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, JD, attestation, or equivalent)
- The firm has no billable hour requirement for paralegals. They are flexible about evaluating people based on the quality of their work over churning out a high quantity of hours
