The Corporate Paralegal will lend support to the sales, marketing, finance, operations, and product teams and oversees intellectual property/global brand management, regulatory, compliance, and risk management. This position requires a proactive approach to create and streamline internal processes, anticipate needs, and proactively comes to the team with solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for administrative excellence, comfortable with ambiguity and managing risk, be process–driven, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Be Doing – The Essentials
- Implementation of a contract management system (CMS) and ongoing management of and improvement to the CMS over time.
- Organization and cross functional follow up on all existing contracts – ensuring on time renewals, updates or terminations.
- Coordination of new contract reviews, addendum requests, termination notifications and timeline management for responses and feedback.
- Support the GC with coordination for annual reviews of existing IP portfolio, work with 3 rd party firms and strategy implementation.
- Support the GC with monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reporting, risk mitigation projects and Board document preparation.
- General budget preparation, monthly expense reporting, monthly expense planning (forecasting) support.
- Review and advise on product packaging and all manner of advertising/marketing materials with a special emphasis on supporting our ecommerce business.
- Research and identify relevant judicial decisions, status, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent material, reviewing and monitoring new and updated regulations.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned including projects to support legal department and the business.

- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred, Bachelor's degree a plus.
