Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in all aspects of patent applications, USPTO, foreign filing, docket, trademark, patent prosecution and other legal matters. You will work closely with our attorneys and clients to ensure that all legal documents are prepared accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field of patent prosecution and a strong understanding of the legal process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO and foreign patent offices
• Manage patent prosecution dockets, including tracking deadlines and communicating with clients and foreign associates
• Conduct legal research and analysis on patent and trademark matters
• Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO and foreign trademark offices
• Assist with the drafting of legal documents, including responses to office actions, amendments, and appeals
• Communicate with clients and foreign associates regarding patent and trademark matters
• Maintain accurate and up–to–date legal files and databases
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on legal matters
• Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in patent prosecution and trademark matters
• Knowledge of USPTO and foreign patent and trademark laws and regulations
• Experience with docketing software and databases, such as CPI or Foundation IP
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast–paced environment
