Job Details
Prepare and file U.S. and PCT patent applications and drawings with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Coordinate foreign patent filings with foreign associates.
Prepare and file patent–related documents including assignments, declarations, information disclosure statements, office action responses, etc using electronic filing systems.
Communicate with attorneys, agents, paralegals, and clients to gather information and ensure timely action is taken when needed.
Review and process all incoming correspondence from outside counsel, foreign associates and the USPTO including official communications and invoices.
Communicate with the USPTO to obtain information and resolve issues.
Track and manage docket due dates using a docketing system to ensure all dates are met.
Manage and maintain a docket for individual attorneys and agents.
Assist attorneys and agents in preparing for client meetings.
Maintain client files and reports with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Perform other assignments and tasks as requested.
