Department: Legal

Job Description: The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for providing legal support to the company in various areas, including but not limited to contracts, compliance, and intellectual property. The Corporate Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel and other departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
  • Advise on legal issues related to digital marketing and advertising
  • Assist with compliance matters, including data privacy and security
  • Draft and review internal policies and procedures
  • Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright issues
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal guidance to various departments
  • Manage outside counsel on certain matters

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state where the company is located
  • At least 8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate law
  • In–depth knowledge of legal issues related to digital marketing and advertising
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
  • Familiarity with intellectual property law
  • Experience managing outside counsel
