We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers a stimulating work environment and a chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will primarily focus on litigation, including civil and commercial litigation, legal writing, intellectual property, patent trials, and trial preparation. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and contribute to our firm's success.


1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our legal team, focusing on litigation, civil litigation, and commercial litigation.
2. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements.
3. Participate in patent trials, including preparation of trial exhibits and organizing trial binders.
4. Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
5. Assist in managing intellectual property matters, including conducting patent and trademark searches, and assisting in the preparation of patent and trademark applications.
6. Assist in the preparation of legal briefs and other written submissions to courts and tribunals.
7. Maintain an organized and up–to–date case management system, including tracking deadlines and court dates.
8. Liaise with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
9. Perform administrative tasks as required, such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.


1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on litigation, civil litigation, and commercial litigation.
2. A degree or diploma in Paralegal Studies from an accredited institution.
3. Demonstrated experience in legal writing, including the preparation of legal briefs and other written submissions.
4. Experience in intellectual property matters, including patent trials.
5. Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and legal research techniques.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals.
8. Proficiency in the use of legal research software and other legal technology tools.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
10. Self–motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
