We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IP Paralegal (Litigation) to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about intellectual property law and thrives in a fast–paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive paralegal support to our IP Litigation team, managing complex IP cases, handling ECF/CM–ECF filings, and utilizing various legal software including Relativity and USPTO. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high–stakes, complex litigation cases and to be part of a team that is dedicated to protecting and enforcing our clients' intellectual property rights.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of IP litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and managing document productions.
2. Coordinate ECF/CM–ECF filings and manage case dockets.
3. Conduct legal research, fact–checking, and case analysis.
4. Utilize legal software such as Relativity, USPTO, and ECF/PACER for case management and eDiscovery.
5. Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and witness interviews.
6. Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
7. Maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion in handling sensitive information.
8. Coordinate and manage various projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IP Litigation Paralegal.
2. Proficiency in ECF/CM–ECF filings, ECF/PACER, USPTO, and Relativity.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of IP litigation processes, eDiscovery, and legal research.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, paralegal certification is a plus.
