Our firm is seeking a Permanent Senior Patent Paralegal who will be instrumental in supporting our intellectual property practice. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals on a wide variety of patent–related matters. The role requires a deep understanding of patent law, including USPTO and PCT filings, foreign filings, and docketing. If you are an experienced paralegal with a passion for intellectual property law, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Patent Paralegal, you will be entrusted with a diverse set of responsibilities that are integral to the success of our firm. These include:

1. Managing US and foreign patent docket ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
2. Preparing and filing patent applications, responses and other documents with the USPTO.
3. Coordinating with foreign associates on the preparation, filing, and prosecution of international patent applications.
4. Monitoring and maintaining patent files and documentation.
5. Conducting patent searches and preliminary evaluations of the patentability of inventions.
6. Assisting attorneys with the preparation of opinions and due diligence investigations.
7. Keeping up–to–date with changes in patent law and procedures, and applying this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role is a driven, detail–oriented professional who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role. The qualifications for this position include:

1. At least 3 years of experience as a patent paralegal.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of patent law, including USPTO and PCT filings, foreign filings, and docketing.
3. Demonstrable experience with intellectual property matters.
4. Proficiency in patent database management and patent search tools.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast–paced, high–pressure environment.
8. A bachelor's degree or paralegal certification is preferred.
