Business Development & Marketing Manager (Law Firm) Location: London / Cheltenham Salary: Basic GBP55k (DOE) + Excellent Bonus Contract: Fixed 12 months The Client: Our client is a well established law firm focusing on Media, Technology, and Brands/IP, providing expert guidance and ensuring the protection of innovative and business assets in these sectors The Role: They are seeking an experienced manager to join their team and lead diverse BD, marketing, and communication endeavors with a practical mindset. Foster client relations and drive firm–wide initiatives for impactful results. You will be involved in managing Events, Marketing Collateral and Pitches, Website and Social Media, Internal Communications, Awards and Legal Directory Submissions, Research, CRM System, PR and Press Releases. Responsibilities: Curate event venues aligned with brand; target audiences, manage invitations, assess ROI. Innovate marketing collateral; liaise with lawyers, agencies, and PAs for concise, updated content. Collaborate on legal updates, thought leadership campaigns, and industry insights. Oversee web content, social media engagement, maximise audience interaction. Elevate practice groups, contribute to internal communications, engage BD & marketing team. Shape compelling legal directories, awards submissions, articulate persuasive copy. Gather insights on clients, targets, sectors, analyse engagement metrics. Maintain systems, databases, optimise operational processes, advocate CRM usage. Develop press opportunities, press releases, enhance public visibility. Support key clients, internal/external comms, diverse marketing projects as required. Requirements: Previous experience working in a BD/marketing role within a legal firm or broader professional services. Media, technology, or intellectual property experience is advantageous.
