Contracts Negotiator

Contracts Negotiator:

We are currently working with a highly regarded London based university who are seeking a Contracts Negotiator to join their team whilst they look to recruit on a permanent basis. The role will be to support the Head of Contracts and Contracts Managers in coordinating an effective and efficient service for the negotiation of research and research related agreements to the Departments within the Faculty of Medicine.

Key Duties:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of research funding agreements and research–related contracts
• Deploy good working knowledge of contractual issues such as intellectual property, confidentiality, publications, liabilities and other related issues
• Preparing draft agreements in discussion with research staff taking into consideration specific project requirements
• Reviewing draft agreements received from funders and collaborator and propose changes
• Liaising with funders, researchers and administrative staff to reach agreement on changes to draft contracts
• Developing knowledge of clinical contracts related issues and relevant laws and regulations applicable to such contracts

Job Details:

• ASAP start
• Initial 3 month contract
• Hybrid working (2 days onsite in London, 3 days remote)
• Part time and full time hours considered
