Commercial Associate – Manchester

An opportunity for a commercial solicitor with experience or an interest in working within a leading sports and media firm in Manchester.

The Role
Working within a well established team recognised in the legal directories as a market leader
Working with an exceptional client base including sports clubs, agents and agencies, sportspersons and player associations
Advising on a wide variety of commercial and contractual matters in sport and media to include –
Football transactional documentation and associated regulatory work
Commercial rights agreements (including sponsorship, image rights, licensing, broadcast and other content exploitation)
General commercial contracts and advice (including supply arrangements, terms and conditions, agency, distribution, intellectual property, data etc)

Requirements
Qualified Solicitor NQ – 5 (candidates outside of this range are encouraged to apply)
Experience advising on commercial law matters
Exposure to sports/media matters is desirable but not essential
Excellent academics
An entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development
