Group14 is looking for a Project Manager, Legal & Compliance to join our growing team supporting the company's grant compliance and legal operations. The Project Manager, Legal & Compliance will support Group14's legal docket, ongoing projects, and grant compliance framework by maintaining metrics, compiling reports, and working with various cross functional teams and company counsel to provide day–to–day support of legal and compliance related matters.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

–As a project manager you will be responsible for planning and managing the day– to–day logistics of projects and legal docket with legal/business partners.

–Assist to ensure compliance with Group14's federal grants by refining our compliance framework and working with cross–functional stakeholders to establish, document, and continuously improve internal controls.

–Act as a legal point of contact within the organization and maintain docket of contract and intellectual property related legal matters.

–Develop and implement organizational systems to drive client–focused legal services to the organization.

–Coordinate activities of various cross–functional stakeholders in relation to assigned programs and projects.

–Conduct periodic compliance gap assessments.

–Drive continuous improvements of legal and compliance processes.

–Coordinate with SOX compliance manager to drive compliance across functions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

–Early–mid level paralegal or project manager, preferably with experience in government contract administration or compliance.

–Demonstrated project management skills with an ability to manage and organize several projects at a time.

–Demonstrated ability to follow process through to completion with the appropriate documentation.

–A passion for sustainability.

–An inclination to persevere in the face of adversity.

–A collaborative approach to getting work done.

–A strong client focus and the ability to work independently.

OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

–Experience with federal government contract compliance (FAR, DFARS).

–Start–up experience.

–Experience in a legal, compliance, or project management role with one or more of laboratory, industrial, or manufacturing operations.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $125,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non–discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
