This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to develop their career in a prestigious firm known for its expertise and dedication to client service. As a Commercial Solicitor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters to the firm's diverse client base. The primary focus will be on assisting clients in various sectors with contractual matters, commercial transactions, intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities:

• Provide high–quality legal advice and support to clients on a range of commercial law matters, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their needs
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations, licensing, and infringement issues
• Assist clients with data protection and privacy matters, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as GDPR
• Collaborate with colleagues and experts within the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions that meet clients' commercial objectives
• Keep abreast of legal developments and industry trends to provide proactive and innovative legal advice to clients
• Attend client meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings when necessary, representing clients' best interests
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeking opportunities for business development and fostering client loyalty
• Adhere to the firm's policies, procedures, and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times

Requirements:

• Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, newly qualified or with up to 2 years of post–qualification experience.
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree in Law or a related field.
• Experience or keen interest in commercial law, with exposure to commercial contracts, intellectual property, and data protection.
• Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a diverse workload, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Membership in relevant professional organisations or societies is advantageous.
