Position: Qualified Legal Counsel Solicitor

Location: Renfrewshire, Scotland

Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP50,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits

FINTEC Recruit is working with an international engineering/energy client based in Renfrewshire, Scotland, seeking a dynamic and motivated Qualified Legal Counsel Solicitor to join their team. This is a permanent position with an attractive salary range and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal, contractual, and compliance support to the organization
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including exceptions for client and supplier contracts
• Offer guidance on intellectual property protection and management
• Assist with various agreements, manage litigations, disputes, claims, and oversee external counsel

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor/Lawyer with PQE experience (Scotland/England/Wales)
• Strong knowledge of contract and commercial law
• Ability to provide pragmatic legal advice within complex business contexts

Desirable:

• Experience in contract and commercial law within in–house or private practice settings
• Familiarity with legal compliance and intellectual property matters
