Senior Counsel

People Vantage Legal is looking for a senior attorney who can provide a wide range of legal expertise. Typical job functions includes drafting legal documents in the FDA regulatory space (patents, FDA Regulatory, commercial, litigation, etc.) critical to maintaining business operations and being deeply knowledgable about the regulatory environment of clients' businesses. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex legal documents, including letters, notices, legal opinions, contracts, patent or trademark applications, court/administrative filings, licenses, corporate documents, etc.
• Understand state and federal laws, regulations, and policies in a complex legal area to inform business activities
• Can apply legal acumen across multiple areas to solve complex business challenges

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of eight (8) years of legal experience; admission to at least one State bar
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrates discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• At least 3 years of experience working on Life Science legal and compliance related matters, with experience working on legal matters associated with a life sciences entity
• Experience in FDA prescription drug regulatory matters including experience in the federal Anti–Kickback Statue, False Claims Act, Advertising Promotional Review, Research and Development
• Specialized legal areas within an attorney's expertise may include Intellectual Property, Regulatory, Trade, Compliance, Contracting, Environmental, Employment, Litigation and/or Antitrust
