Commercial Solicitor

Award winning Manchester based law firm has an opportunity available for a c.5 year PQE solicitor to join their successful Commercial team. Clients are based nationwide and span a variety of sectors.

You will be working on commercial contract drafting and negotiation. Providing advice from first principles stage, often supporting clients in identifying their needs in relation to a commercial proposition prior to them engaging their supplier or client.

Skills and experience required:

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of PQE in commercial work (private practice or in–house), with data protection expertise as a must have and intellectual property and/or IT expertise as a nice to have .
• Have a proven track record in client care at a level appropriate to your experience.
• Establish a strong rapport with clients and attract repeat work from the quality of the service they provide.
• Work well independently and with others, providing supervision of more junior team members and support to partners in the team where needed, taking on feedback and committing to your own development.
• Would like to work in a values driven organisation, and progress based on your demonstrable abilities.
• Are able to work flexibly whilst recognising the need to attend the office and clients premises where needed to meet the requirements of the role.
