Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients facing administrative issues, offering strategic guidance and representation throughout the administrative process.
- Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research on administrative regulations, statutes, and case law to provide informed counsel and develop effective legal strategies.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including petitions, complaints, briefs, motions, and administrative filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Administrative Proceedings: Represent clients in administrative hearings, negotiations, and appeals, advocating for their interests and rights before administrative agencies and tribunals.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases, advising on legal matters, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Compliance and Regulatory Guidance: Stay updated on changes in administrative laws, regulations, and policies, providing proactive guidance to clients to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing with relevant bar associations.
- Proven experience of 4 years practicing administrative law, with a focus on representing clients in administrative proceedings.
- Strong understanding of administrative law principles, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast–paced legal environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
