Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Corporate Litigation Group as a Legal Administrative Assistant!

Are you detail–oriented, organized, and committed to delivering excellence in administrative support? We are a prominent Delaware law firm with a diverse business practice, seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Litigation Group.

As a Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA), you'll play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our lawyers while delivering high–quality service to both internal and external clients. This position offers dedicated support to several attorneys within our Corporate Litigation practice.

Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Review and analyze briefs and motions in preparation for e–filing and service.
Draft routine court documents for attorney review and approval.
Prepare pleadings and other docketed material for service and filing, with a focus on electronic filing using the Delaware Court of Chancery's system and related platforms.
Manage case files and oversee document discovery.
Update and maintain attorney calendars, ensuring accuracy in court dates and other relevant deadlines.
Provide general administrative support functions to assist attorneys and clients, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Manage event invitations and guest lists.
Assist attorneys with time entry.

Requirements:

Strong organizational and administrative skills, coupled with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast–paced environment, managing multiple tasks and overlapping deadlines efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
Technological proficiency, with the ability to quickly grasp various software programs relevant to legal practice.
Three to five years of related experience.
Full knowledge of filing processes in federal and Delaware state courts.
Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience required.
