Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Intellectual Property Attorney to join our vibrant team. This position involves advising clients on a variety of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating IP agreements, managing IP portfolios, conducting due diligence, and providing defensive and offensive IP litigation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and represent clients in all aspects of intellectual property law.
  • Prepare and prosecute trademark and patent applications.
  • Conduct IP due diligence for business deals and litigation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate licensing agreements, NDAs, and other IP–related contracts.
  • Manage and oversee domestic and international IP portfolios.
  • Provide strategic planning and guidance for IP commercialization.
  • Represent clients in IP disputes and litigation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in FL, with a registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) preferred.
  • 3–6 years of experience in intellectual property law.
  • Strong knowledge of patent law, including experience with patent prosecution, litigation, and counseling.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail–oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
