Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IP Paralegal to join our dynamic team. You will assist attorneys in the practice of intellectual property law, specifically patent litigation and prosecution. The ideal candidate will have experience in filing electronically with the federal district courts, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and International Trade Commission (ITC); Docketing deadlines; Working knowledge of patents, trade secrets, copyrights and/or trademarks; Monitor litigation cases, patent applications and IPRS, and trademark applications; Conduct patent and trademark research; Support attorneys during IP litigation by drafting pleadings, locating case law, preparing exhibits; conducting discovery and corresponding with experts and other witnesses; Communicate with clients, vendors, USPTO personnel, court personnel, experts, attorneys and others as directed.

Job Details

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 5+ years of IP Litigation experience having helped manage and supervise all facets of litigating Section 337 matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
  • At least 5 years of experience in patent and trademark litigation in federal district court.
  • At least 5 years of experience in patent proceedings before the International Trade Commission.
  • 2 years of experience with USPTO inter partes review (IPRs) proceedings.
  • 2 years of experience with USPTO patent and trademark prosecution.
  • Proficient in electronic filings using Pacer CM/ECF and USPTO systems.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice.
