  • Lead the setup and management of special purpose vehicle (SPV) debt facilities to support our financing activities.
  • Design and implement robust compliance programs, including AML/KYC policies and procedures, to mitigate regulatory risks and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to senior management on legal and regulatory matters, including risk assessments and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with cross–functional teams, including finance, operations, expansion and product development, to drive compliance initiatives and promote a culture of legal and ethical conduct.
  • Stay informed about emerging legal and regulatory trends, assess their impact on the business, and proactively advise on potential risks and opportunities.
  • Law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive experience at a reputable law firm or in–house experience, preferably at a high–tech company or high growth startup in an international environment.
  • Extensive experience in setting up SPV debt facilities and managing financing transactions.

  • Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills, and commercial transactions experience
  • Prior experience working with multinational customers and partners, preferably in technology–related agreements and SaaS
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple matters and conflicting priorities, while balancing legal and business concerns
  • Experience with data privacy and security issues (CCPA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills
