Description
You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who support development teams, advising engineering and operations teams on a wide variety of matters, including technology development, intellectual property licenses, sourcing strategy, and supplier relationships. You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross–functional business and engineering teams to strategize on, draft, and negotiate complex technology licenses, development agreements, supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, and other commercial agreements in support of the wireless technologies in and for Apple products. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of transactional experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on technology agreements, including agreements related to intellectual property, manufacturing, and supply
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Apple business is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross–functional partners
- Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross–functional partners
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume or projects
- Self–starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment
Additional Requirements
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $217,300 and $326,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
