Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, and other commercial agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support on employment–related matters, including employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
  • Oversee real estate transactions and manage related legal issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, and provide guidance on regulatory matters.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Advise senior management on legal risks and opportunities related to business operations and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Ohio State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on contracts, employment law, intellectual property, real estate, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast–paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.
  • Bi–lingual, English/Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex legal issues.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance programs.
