Position Overview:

A Litigation Associate is responsible for providing legal representation and support in litigation cases, with a focus on intellectual property (IP) litigation. This role requires a highly skilled and knowledgeable attorney with expertise in IP law and litigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation cases
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Participate in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, trial, and appeals
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Advise clients on legal issues and potential risks
  • Assist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on IP litigation
  • Strong understanding of IP laws and regulations
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
