Job Details

What You'll Do:

• Participate in all stages of civil litigation, ranging from initial pleadings to trial proceedings.
• Conduct discovery activities, including drafting written discovery requests, reviewing documents, and preparing for and conducting depositions.
• Perform factual and legal research to support litigation strategies.
• Engage in written and oral motions practice, including motions to compel, summary judgment motions, and other pretrial motions.
• Prepare for and participate in pretrial and trial proceedings.
• Handle appellate practice, including drafting appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments.

What You'll Bring:

• 2–5 years of experience in litigation within a law firm setting.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admission to the WSBA or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for case–related matters.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
• Motivated self–starter eager for professional growth and capable of assuming substantive responsibilities in complex cases.
• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks independently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with electronic discovery tools and experience in managing large document productions.
• Ability to think creatively to resolve legal issues while balancing legal risks with business interests.
• Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with paralegals and legal assistants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands effectively.
