EC/VC Associate Attorney

We are searching for an Associate Attorney with EC/VC experience for one of our clients, a top law firm in Palo Alto, CA. Is an in office position with a great salary, stellar benefits + bonus.

Will be supporting technology and growth companies at every stage, from seed–stage start–ups to large private firms and early–stage public companies. Role will be focused on advising entrepreneurs on company formation, equity structures, and venture capital negotiations. Additionally, will guide both private and public companies on a wide array of corporate matters, including strategic transactions, fundraising, corporate governance, equity incentive plans, employment issues, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. They also work closely with venture capital firms and institutional investors focused on emerging growth companies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EC/VC experience
• A keen interest in growth industries such as Fintech, AI, Cleantech, SaaS, big data, life sciences or other emerging technologies
• Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards of directors at company–side clients
• Ability to work on site in either their Palo Alto or San Francisco office
